In a unexpected collaboration that challenges conventional forecasts, Ubisoft has announced an digital crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual holiday event runs from November 25 through December 22, offering complimentary bonus story content for Shadows players.

Peculiar Questline Revealed

According to the authorized statement, "An unusual encounter leads protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a original mission, where rumors of prohibited rituals and monstrous transformations reverberate through the shadows." The narrative features a "unusually garbed woman named Ada" who charges the duo with journeying into the Crystal Cave—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her ally from a clandestine sect.

The adventure centers on "strange experiments and a fearsome enemy" and is open to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.

Iconic Settings and Metamorphoses

The preview features the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was formerly where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through eras. The trailer concludes with a striking scene showing a character, probably the prisoner, morphing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.

Special Rewards and Extra Content

Players who successfully complete the mission will obtain an special katana alongside several objects hidden throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also includes premium Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:

• Mikasa attire for Naoe
• Special arms
• Survey Corps vehicle

Third Free Story Addition

This update also introduces the game's newest complimentary story episode, titled "A Puzzlement."
