Incredible $30 Map-Making Software Bundle Is a Virtual Tabletop GM's Dream

The Main Attraction

The standout feature is definitely permanent access for Campaign Cartographer 3+, an industry-standard mapping application which enables users to create everything from fantasy overworld maps, detailed regional charts, city maps, and most notably, tactical combat environments.

Bundle Tiers

Basic Package

The most affordable option, at a minimum cost of $1, features merely four from the thirty-nine available products: Fantasy Overland Symbol Collection, Monster Token Pack 1, Castle Source Maps, Urban Source Maps. This one's only for existing CC3+ users, but it does offer fresh fantasy design elements for landscape mapping, more than 750 monster tokens for use in virtual tabletops, over twenty-five top-down castle layouts with 470 associated map tokens, eight fully mapped cities, plus seventy-plus building interiors.

Intermediate Package

The eight-item bundle starting at fifteen dollars is where things get more interesting through inclusion of a lifetime CC3+ license, Cartographer's Annual Vol 1, Tome of Ultimate Mapping, Isometric Cities Symbol Pack. The Annual represents the yearly bundle from the company's long-running monthly subscription service which includes multiple CC3+ enhancements including map packs and additional utilities. The Isometric Cities enables present urban areas in 3D perspective with isometric views from all sides. And the Tome of Ultimate Mapping comprises 760 pages for beginners and "power users" alike, full of tips and tutorials covering cartography techniques.

All 17 volumes from the Annual series are included here, alongside a slew of additional tools and content enabling creators to design entire planets or galaxies, or just go all-in on traditional fantasy world-building: combat arenas, underground complexes, urban centers, and land masses in multiple viewpoints. You can even design character illustrations. For $30 as opposed to $15, the complete collection is so worth it, especially for cartographers with temporary CC3+ access seeking permanent licensing. However, it's clearly more advantageous for map-making newbies considering you even get introductory guides to help you get started. The one caveat here is that while you can redeem the deal on any platform, the software is only usable on Windows.
